Dr Blanchet was awarded the Frist HCA hospitals Humanitarian Award 2022 ,as one of 2 national finalists. This is in recognition of her work with patients in need of breast reconstruction in Virginia, her mentoring and teaching of the VCU residents for over a decade, and her volunteer work on the island of st Vincent for 3 decades
