What is a Lateral Facelift?

Some patients are good candidates for a mini-facelift or lateral facelift. If, when you pull the skin on the sides of your neck and face, you are satisfied with the amount of tightening under the chin, you are a good candidate for a lateral facelift. The advantages of this procedure are a shorter recovery by about a week, no incision under the chin, and you may not need a nurse to take care of you post-operatively.
